Proven materials. Proven results.

Choosing the material is one of the most important calls in additive manufacturing. We test every material in-house for real-world performance; a manufacturer's claim alone doesn't get it onto our approved list.

Vetting criteria

Eight tests before a material makes the list.

01

Dimensional stability

02

Layer adhesion

03

Strength-to-weight

04

Heat resistance

05

UV resistance

06

Impact resistance

07

Approved portfolio

Find the right material.

Ratings are relative within our portfolio (5 = best). HDT values are approximate and vary by grade and print orientation. Ask us for a recommendation for your application.

PLAHDT ~55°C
Polylactic acid · standard & PLA+

Concept models, display pieces, fit checks, signage and multi-color consumer products.

PLA-CFHDT ~60°C
Carbon-fiber reinforced PLA

Stiff, matte jigs and brackets and lightweight structural parts that need to hold their dimensions.

PETGHDT ~70°C
Polyethylene terephthalate glycol

Functional parts, mechanical housings, food-adjacent containers and durable everyday components.

PETG-CFHDT ~75°C
Carbon-fiber reinforced PETG

Rigid fixtures, tooling and mounts that need low warp and a premium matte finish.

ABSHDT ~95°C
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene

Automotive interiors, enclosures and heat-exposed parts. Can be sanded, painted and vapor-smoothed.

ASAHDT ~95°C
Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate

Outdoor-grade parts that resist UV: signage, exterior mounts, holiday lighting hardware and automotive exteriors.

PAHDT ~80°C+
Nylon (polyamide)

Gears, hinges, snap fits and wear parts. Tough, with low friction and good fatigue resistance.

PA-CF / PA-GFHDT ~150°C+
Carbon & glass-filled nylon

High-performance jigs, end-of-arm tooling and structural brackets. Can stand in for some machined parts.

PCHDT ~115°C
Polycarbonate

High-impact, high-temperature functional parts, protective covers and engineering validation.

TPUHDT ~60°C
Thermoplastic polyurethane

Gaskets, seals, grips, bumpers, protective sleeves and anything that has to flex.

PVA / HIPSHDT n/a
Soluble support materials

Dissolvable supports for complex internal geometry, moving assemblies and pristine surfaces.

Standard ResinHDT ~50°C
MSLA photopolymer

Miniatures, jewelry masters, dental and display models with near-invisible layer lines.

ABS-like ResinHDT ~60°C
Tough engineering photopolymer

High-detail functional prototypes and small precision parts that need more toughness.

Castable ResinHDT n/a
Burn-out resin for investment casting

Jewelry and small-metal casting patterns with clean, ash-free burnout.

Flexible ResinHDT ~45°C
Elastomeric photopolymer

Soft-touch, high-detail prototypes, seals and overmold simulations.

Material handling

Dry filament makes better parts.

Moisture causes weak layers, stringing and dimensional drift. Every spool is professionally dried before it goes on a machine, on every job, whatever the material, and stays dry while it prints. Lots are tracked so batches stay consistent from one reorder to the next.

  • Sunlu / Insologic IQ 10 dehumidifying machines
  • Sunlu S4 drying units and 3 kg SP2 drying units
  • Multiple Bambu Lab AMS and AMS 2 units with heating, keeping filament dry while it prints
  • 4+ Bambu Lab AMS HT units
  • 8 Elegoo H1 HT filament dryers (up to 85°C)

Custom and specialty materials are available on request. Depending on sourcing and specifications, extra cost and lead time may apply.
